Gary was born and raised in Passiac, New Jersey. His first job was in his father’s flower shop, that not only taught him the value of customer service, but it helped him to see how important family is. As a kid he loved participating in plays, featuring other kids in the neighborhood, based off of things done by the Marx Brothers. Radio is the kind of stage that allows him to perform and still be himself. He’s been in the radioindustry for over 25 years. All of his humor and commentary is motivated by his heart. Gary loves all kinds of people. One of his favorite things about the show is reaching out to help as many people as he can.. and the free food! He dedicates 110% of himself to the community and his family. In his spare time he enjoys hockey, spending time with his wife Laurie, their brand new baby, and his daughter Taylor who is currently attending Penn State.
While he is not a fan of big spotlight recognition, Gary has received many honorable and wonderful community awards including: Outstanding Service Award from Monroe County Toys for Tots (2012), Best New Business Bizzy Award (2013), Greatest Around the Poconos Award for Best Radio Personality (2013), Greatest Around the Poconos Award for Best Morning Show Radio Team (2013), Thank You Recognition from Monroe County Special Olympics Polar Plunge Event (2013), Cruizin’ The Burg Rueben Torres
