Even though she was born just outside of Detroit, Michigan, Elisa considers herself a reformed New Yorker. Her entire family has roots in all the boroughs of New York, and she lived in Long Island for several years. It was only a matter of time before they joined the great exodus to the Poconos, where Elisa feels the most at home. She is a proud alumni of Stroudsburg High school. She is also a proud alumni of East Stroudsburg University, achieving her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication studies with honors from there in 2004, transferring there after spending 2 years of biblical study at Moravian College in Bethlehem. In 2012 she obtained her Master’s Degree in Education and teaching certification from Villanova University, before the age of 30. She attributes her influence into the entertainment world from her days watching Kermit the Frog and The Muppet Show. As a child she spent some time visiting her grandmother in Northern Italy, which also gave her an appreciation of the arts young in life, as well as a continuous appetite for academics. She currently lives with her better half, Brett, in East Stroudsburg. Her favorite hobbies include ice skating, sleeping, video games, jazz, shoe-shopping, and spending time with family.
She began her adventure into the broadcasting genre at 90.3 WESS, the campus radio station for East Stroudsburg University. It was not long before she worked her way up, becoming the station’s News Director. An internship with Gary in the Morning started her official commercial radio broadcasting career, and would spend five years at 93.5 FM WSBG. She also joined Gary in the Morning for two years during his internet-podcast radio program.
Elisa spent a year teaching 9th & 10th grade World History in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
In 2012 she joined him as co-host once again at Pocono 96.7 FM, and also stepped into the role of News Director for the station.
Elisa is constantly working within the community.
